Carolina started dancing age 10 and became fascinated with Jazz at age 14.
Together with Francesco Pezzo she embarked on competitive dance in 2001 in Rock’n’Roll, Mixing Blues, and Jitterbug/Swing, adding Lindy Hop and Boogie Woogie to the mix in 2008. In 2010 she won the ‘Mixing Blues’ World title in France. In the following years she led a successful national and international competitive career with Francesco winning absolute Italian Champions in 2012-2013-2014-2015-2016 amongst other titles.
She left the competition circuit in 2016, but continued to nurture her passion for Boogie Woogie, Lindy Hop, and also the Charleston, Balboa, Saint Louis Shag, and Solo Jazz.
She has taught and performed at various festivals in Italy and abroad, and has been part of the Studio Larosa Dance Team since 2008. With artful simplicity she transmits enthusiasm for these dances as she teaches their techniques.
She has a Diploma of Master of Ballet as well as a Diploma as a National Judge.
