La Fenice

Via Cesare Battisti, 19, Senigallia, AN, Italia

The Theatre is built on a site that has historically housed other theatres in the past. Its architecture reflects different urban stages of the history of Senigallia, and was  designed as a multi-faceted block; each side characterising an architectural aspect of the city in which it dwells. For example, the side along Via Pisacane, facing the eighteenth-century part of the historic centre, is characterised by an architecture of giant proportions that references the architecture of the Portici Ercolani, the most significant urban structure of the city during the eighteenth century.

During the Summer Jamboree 2018, the Theatre is one of the venues for the Dance Camp.
