The Class of ’58

The hills are alive with the sound of music – and it’s Rock ‘n’ Roll!! The Coleman family are “The Class of ’58”. This band is recognised around the world as one of Europe’s best and most well known 50’s Rock & Roll and Doo Wop bands. Consisting of Howie (Dad) on Guitar/Vocals, Chris (Mam) on Double Bass/Vocals, and their sons Johnny, on Drums/Vocals and Davie on Piano/vocals. The band is totally unique as, unusually, they are one complete family unit, and because of this they’ve been christened “The First Family of Rock ‘n’ Roll”. Howie and Chris have been performing rock’n’roll since way back in 1986, and as the Coleman Family they have been pleasing audiences for 15 years now and continue to go strong, performing all types of 50’s Rock & Roll from Classics to Doowop, Jive, Boogie Woogie to Rockabilly. They always manage to give their performances all they’ve got and are hugely popular with dancers. The band has an outstanding reputation for their collective harmonies, and their ability to keep an edge to their familial rock ‘n’ roll sounds after all these years together. The hills are alive with the sound of music? The Von Trapp’s never sounded like this!
